Rated 1 out of 5 by Aaliyah's Mom from Allergic reaction!!! I used the Johnson's Lavender baby oil for the first time all over after I got out of the shower. The next morning I woke up to horribly itchy hives all over my body. My legs, arms, hands, chest and stomach were covered with hives!!! I ended up having to take Benadryl to help with the allergic reaction. But it is still spreading....I don't know what to do!! Come to find out it is the mineral oil. I originally bought this to use on my 3 yr old daughter..... I'm glad I didn't. She has severe asthma and allergies. Using that on her would have gone horribly wrong! I discontinued this immediately and will never buy again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Reese from Serious allergic reaction I bought this per dermatologist to soften skin on my legs and arms as I was receiving precancerous lesion treatment. I had severe itching over the areas involved from the beginning. Mypost treatment healing process went from bad to worse. I kept putting more baby oil on and started applying all over after showers, not recognizing it was not dermatology treatment sideffect. When I started covering myself I woke up in morning covered with generalized swelling all over and severe hives and itch. Everywhere.i stopped baby oil abruptly. It’s been two weeks now. I’m still covered with sores in various stages of healing from scratching in the end, but I am done with hives, itch and baby oil.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Horrible rash and itchiness after three days I bought this to help with dry skin. The first three days I rubbed the oil on after showing and before drying. I put lots of oil on my chest, neck, torso, arms, and legs. I did not use it on day four but I began to notice itching on my chest and under my neck. I attributed the itching to sweating but then I began to notice a red rash spreading down my neck and over my breasts. It has been about four days since I used the oil and I still have the rash on the upper body and now my arms and legs are showing the rash. Not sure why it has taken longer to show on the arms and legs. It is itchy and irritating. I have used aloe vera in the past so I'm not sure which ingredient is causing the reaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marilyn from Love Johnson's Baby Oil...I put it on my hair too!!!!! I love Johnson's Baby Oil, it not only makes my skin soft and young (I'm 62). I slather it on my entire body while shower is still running, including my face. I started putting it on my hair and it is glorious! I have bleached my hair since I was in high school and there are NO split ends and it doesn't feel dry. I wash my hair, rinse, put conditioner on, then put a handful of Johnson's Baby Oil in my hair and I rub it in. I don't rub the scalp, just my hair. Then just rinse. Leave the Baby Oil in. My hair is silky, shiny, growing, easy to manage and not the least bit oily. I do this every time I shampoo. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

Usually during the summer time I start to have heat rashes on my neck and arms and I apply the baby oil right after I get out of the shower onto my damp skin and it absorbs extremely quick and it doesn't feel too oily. Also, it makes my skin feel nicely moisturize and I repeated the same steps for about a week and all my rashes went away and they were there for about a whole month until I started using the baby oil. I am still using this around my neck to keep it moisturize and to prevent any rashes/wrinkles in the future. Leaves your skin feeling baby soft even if you're in your 20's!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Xuxa from Great moisturizer! If you have dry skin this product is great. I like to pour some in a bath, it sinks in and softens/moisturizers skin really well that way. After I get out of the bath if I'm going to bed I usually massage some more on while I'm still wet as a great over night treatment, or if I'm going out I'll put on either the baby lotion in colder months or the baby powder in warmer months.
It's also good for mixing with perfume oils if you use them, you only need a couple drops to about a spoonful of oil (if that) and it helps the scent spread better because you can rub it all over, as opposed to just being dabbed on the wrists or so, and it makes the perfume oil last longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pale Kansan with sensitive skin from Simple and Fresh I have used many moisturizers in my life and this is one that I always have on hand. I use this to shave and to moisturize just out of the shower. It always absorbs easily and leaves a soft powder scent. I wear sunscreen on my face and body and this is gentle enough to use on my face, however I do prefer the baby oil from Johnsons imported from Japan to use on my face as they make an unscented version with a pump. I always follow up with a gentle face wash in the shower afterward. Love Johnsons Baby Oil!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Horrible Rash My mother used this on me as a baby and I broke out in a horrible rash after she used it. I still, as a 22 year old break out in a rash if it gets on me. I was a counselor at a camp where they made a slide on the side of a hill and put baby oil on it to make it slippery. Remembering that as a child I broke out in a rash I decided i would forgo the fun. I was very careful to not touch anyone that afternoon who had been on the slide. However, one of my fellow counselors touched my arm afterwards and within an hour I was beginning to develop a rash on my forearm. I don't know what it is but it leaves a horrible rash and is very uncomfortable.
